Honed precision tubes are made of seamless steel tubes, with raw materials hot rolled, under cold drawn process then honing. They are widely used for manufacturing hydraulic cylinders. Honing is a finishing method whose goal is to ensure perfect surface grade, in our case final treatment of the inner diameter of the tube. Advantage of this classic procedure honing is high geometrical accuracy of the shape with minimal conicity and waviness of the surface. However, after the process, there will be a large number of spiral grooves from the grinding tools. Final surface will have roughness Ra 0,4 μm. These honed precision tubes are not usually in stock, we provide honed steel tubing with various steel grades, current price and time offer will be sent upon request.

DELIVERY CONDITIONS

The Honing tubes shall be manufactured from hot finished seamless tubes by cold drawing or other suitable processes.
The honed precision tubes shall be supplied in one of the delivery conditions as follows:

Cold drawn/hard	+C	No heat treatment after the final cold drawing process.
Cold drawn/soft	+LC	After the final heat treatment there is a suitable drawing pass.
Cold drawn and stress relieved	+SR	After the final cold drawing process there is a stress relief heat treatment in a controlled atmosphere.
Annealed	+A	After the final cold drawing process the tubes are annealed in a controlled atmosphere.
Normalized	+N	After the final cold drawing operation, the tubes are normalized in a controlled atmosphere.
