ALLOY STEEL

ALLOY STEEL

Alloy steel is a series of alloy steel which its main content is steel.
By adding different metal elements with different ratios in steel, it can change the mechanical properties of alloy steel.

Alloy steel tubes are ideally suitable for chemical, petrochemicals, and other energy-related applications.

The alloy steel pipe adopts high quality carbon steel, alloy structural steel and stainless & heat resisting steel as raw material through hot rolling or cold drawn to be made.

Alloy steel can be used in process area where carbon steel has limitation such as

l High-temperature services

l Low-temperature services

l High presser service

As an important element of steel products, alloy steel tubes can be divided into seamless steel pipe and welded steel pipe according to the manufacturing technique and tube billet shape. Here are some frequently-used alloy steel grades that you will come across.

16Mn/40Mn2, 45Mn2, 27SiMn, 20Cr, 40Cr, 20CrMo, 35crMo, 38CrMoAl, 50CrV, 30CrMnSi, A335P11, P91, P92, 15CrMoG, 12Cr1MoVG, 1Cr5Mo, Cr5Mo, Cr9Mo, 0Cr9Mo, 15CrMo, 12Cr1MoV, 10CrMo910, A335P91, 1Cr2Mo, 15MnV, 37Mn5, 10Cr9Mo1VNb, 15NiCuMoNb5, 12Cr2MoWVTiB, WB36, SA106B, ST45.8-III;

Ordinary carbon steel high pressure boiler tube GB5310: 20G, 20MG, 25MG, 15MoG, 20MoG and above are commonly used alloy steel pipe materials.
